Remarks: | Steam and gasoline powered automobiles began replacing horse drawn buggies around the late 1890's. By 1909, Ford mass manufactured the Model T. Since then, roads that were once made for horse and buggies were paved with concrete and asphat and before long, highways were constructed that travel long distances. |
